Award-winning writer, editor, and photographer Joseph M. "Joe" Zlomek lives in and operates from Sanatoga PA. Zlomek currently serves as marketing director of Polley Associates, Pennsylvania's largest proprietary school for professionals in real estate and related careers. He is a real estate instructor licensed by the Pennsylvania State Real Estate Commission.

He also holds the Real Estate CyberSpecialist (RECS) designation of the national Real Estate Cyberspace Society, and the Accredited Seller Representative (ASR) designation as an instructor from the national Seller Agency Council.

Zlomek is a member of the Publications Committee of the national Real Estate Educators' Association (since June 2003), and serves as one of several reviewers of articles for REEA publications. He also is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, an affiliate member of the Suburban West REALTORS® Association of Pennsylvania, and an affiliate member of the Tri-State REALTORS Commercial Alliance.

Additionally, he is a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Pottstown PA, and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Oneida NY.
